Making a Doll Dress...

An old fashioned, funny looking hat to  match the dress...

This is more fun than making a dress that is actually needed. You can do what you want and be a little more creative.

Things that make me happy in my world...

Playing guitar makes me happy even though I am not good at it.
An old  A Girl of the Limberlost book , dried baby's breath, and a little glass doll.
The little white rocker that used to live in the store room until one day when Lisl, Mom, and I got inspired.
My tea sett from Idaho that I got for my birthday while Lisl was teaching school out there.

This is where I live and draw and think and read and do my schoolwork and talk to my sister and my friends and.. and... and...

Pencil Drawings and Two Runny Babbits...

The last rabbit was drawn in a notebook. That is why the pink lines are through it. The reason I decided to do this one is because it is in ink and I like the way it is more distinct  then the pencil drawings. The first one is a watercolor that I did long ago and ran across the other day.

Getting a Pencil Box...

...Once upon a time there lived a girl. This girl liked pencils... all kinds of pencils...red, green, yellow, and even the boring gray kind you use for school. But she had a problem, she had nothing to store her pencils in. One day her and two of her friend decided to go to a far off land called Hayward. She had heard that in this land there with things called tins that you could store pencils in. But she just couldn't seem to find just the right one. Some where round, some where tall, some where short, but none of them were just right. Then all of the sudden she saw it sitting on a shelf just waiting for her! It was just the right color and just the right size and it even could STAND ON END all by itself. So she took this pencil box back to her house and put all her pencils in it. yellow ones, red ones, and even the ones that she didn't ever use. And she was very happy.
